Terms of Use

The rules for using Eternal

These terms explain the educational nature of Eternal, how accounts and subscriptions work, what users may and may not do, and the disclaimers that apply to real-company references, simulated deals, and regional consumer rights.

Last updated April 11, 2026

1. Educational product only

Eternal is an educational application that teaches private equity, investing, diligence, modelling, and related decision-making through simulations, guided cases, rankings, and skill systems.

Eternal does not provide investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, accounting advice, valuation opinions, brokerage services, fiduciary services, or guaranteed recruiting outcomes. Nothing on Eternal is an offer to buy or sell any security, fund interest, or financial product.

2. Public information and deal content

Eternal may include references to real companies, sectors, funds, sponsors, and transaction structures. Those references are intended to be based on public information and educational synthesis only.

Scenarios may also be fictionalised, anonymised, or blended from multiple public or historical sources. Eternal is not intended to disclose confidential deal information, material non-public information, or privileged commercial data.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You are responsible for ensuring that you may lawfully use the service in your jurisdiction. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, disruptive, unlawful, or in breach of these terms. Beta, free, and paid access tiers may have different feature sets, limits, and eligibility requirements.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Eternal to:

  • Violate law, regulation, sanctions, or another person's rights.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, copy, or republish the product at scale without permission.
  • Upload or transmit confidential information you are not allowed to share.
  • Attempt to bypass account limits, pricing gates, access controls, or security features.
  • Interfere with the service, introduce malware, abuse APIs, or automate harmful traffic.
  • Use the platform to produce misleading financial, legal, recruiting, or compliance claims.

5. Subscriptions, beta access, and changes

Some features are free, some may be limited, and some require a paid plan or invited beta access. We may change features, pricing, limits, or availability over time.

If you purchase a paid plan, billing and renewal terms shown at checkout apply in addition to these terms. Promotional access, beta access, and complimentary accounts may be modified or withdrawn at any time.

6. Intellectual property

Eternal, including its brand, cases, scoring systems, interface, design, prompts, educational materials, and software, is protected by intellectual property and other laws. Except where law permits otherwise, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the service without written permission.

7. User submissions and feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or optional user content, you grant Eternal a non-exclusive right to use that material to operate, improve, and promote the service, subject to applicable law and our privacy notice.

More detail about cookies, analytics providers, and privacy rights is set out in the Privacy Notice.

9. No warranty and educational-risk disclaimer

Eternal is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that simulations are error-free, uninterrupted, complete, or suitable for any specific interview, employer, investment, examination, or commercial decision.

Educational case outcomes, XP, rankings, or role-fit scores should not be relied on as professional certifications, regulated assessments, or guaranteed predictors of hiring, investment performance, or legal compliance.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Eternal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data arising from or related to the service.

11. Regional rights and mandatory local law

If you access Eternal as a consumer, you may have rights under the laws of your country, state, or region that cannot be waived by contract. These terms are intended to operate alongside those mandatory rights, not replace them.

Users in the UK, EEA, and other jurisdictions should read these terms together with the Privacy Notice and any mandatory local consumer protections that apply to digital services and educational platforms.

12. Changes, suspension, and termination

We may update the service or these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we may post the revised terms on this page and update the effective date.
